Building a Successful Diverse Business focuses on the essential tools that owners need to successfully establish their businesses in the Marketplace.

CAMBOND CEO and Co-founder Xiaobin Zhao participated in a one-week executive education program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, USA, designed for emerging entrepreneurs who are looking to build a strong foundation of business knowledge and learn how to be a better supplier to corporations.

During this program, participants work closely with Tuck’s accomplished faculty on key areas that entrepreneurs need to master for success, including strategy, marketing, financial analysis, operations, management, and leadership. Participants learn to market to the right customers and showcase their value; assess financial statements to manage cash flow and increase profits; and hone their approach to leadership so they can recruit, motivate, and retain their most talented employees. The program includes activities for peers to give feedback to one another on these key areas of the businesses.

As a category award winner for the MSDUK Innovation Challenge, CAMBOND participated in the program. After his successful return from the US, CEO and Co-founder Xiaobin Zhao commented: “This program helped me to consolidate our business focus on our go-to-market strategy for both short and long term.  Showcase CAMBOND technology at global scale to transform CAMBOND low carbon business into community practice is what we need to carry out. This will help develop our business model to monetise our customer offering in the short term. For the longer term, we need to identify potential strategic partnerships to develop our global business in the UK, Europe, China, South East Asia and USA”.
